Growing up so fast...

I was playing with my kids this morning and started thinking...man they are growing up way too fast!

I had to start packing away some of Sawyer's clothes today and move her on up to the next size. It made me a little sad thinking she is not so itty bitty anymore, but I am also excited to get to dress her in some different clothes (after wearing the same clothes over and over for a few months gets old...ha ha). She has been such a great baby she is so easygoing she just gets lugged around everywhere and gets smothered by Clate and Hadlee all day long, and she just takes it with a grin (most of the time). I love when she talks and smiles, it is the cutest thing. One of my most favorite things she does is SLEEPS so well (if only Clate could catch on), she sleeps from like 10pm to 5:30am eats and goes back to bed until like 7! For some people (AKA Lacey) this might not seem that great but too me it is AMAZING!!I love my sweet little girl, she has such a great personality so far:)

More Bumbo time

Now onto Clate...he has become Mr. Independent lately. He has to do everything himself. He refuses to sit in his high chair, he has to sit at the table, but can hardly see the table while sitting. He has to feed himself, and quite frankly there are times when it would just be easier for me to feed him, so I don't have to give him a bath every hour:) He has to try to buckle himself in his car seat (can't quite get it). He thinks he needs to climb into my bed to go to sleep. One of my favorite things is when I turn on cartoons in my room and walk in to check on him (because he is very quiet...not a good sign) and I find him snuggled under my covers fast asleep! I love the little man he is becoming... even though he scares the crap out of me at times (when he thinks it is funny to climb on top of the couch and try to do a flip or something). There is never a dull moment with him:)

Busy. Busy, Busy...

So we have been pretty busy the past week! One day I thought it would be fun to take a little trip to the Phoenix Zoo. It was nice to get out of the house and walk around, Clate had a lot of fun! Of course his favorite animal was the cows whenever he's sees them he acts like its the first time. Ha Ha. One of the funniest parts of the zoo was when Clate was standing right next to the glass cage where the baboons were, and one came and sat right next to him against the glass. He started crying and trying to get away ASAP. It was funny. This baboon was quite the character it totally put on a show for us while it was eating. It would pull food out of its cheeks and would chew it up then put it on the window, then look at all of us then lick it off the window...so GROSS!

My Mom, Hadlee, Clate, Sawyer, and I took a little trip up to Payson to watch my cousin Bailey play soccer. It was a lot of fun to get to watch her play, she did awesome (scored the only goal of the game)! We missed Cassadi and hopefully she'll get better soon so we can watch her too! The weather was so great!! I miss cool air and rain:(

The weekend came and we took a little camping trip up by Canyon Creek. The trip didn't start out so well...on the way up Sawyers little bouncer chair flew out of the back of the truck (I tried telling Marcus that it was going to fly out...but who wants to listen to their wife?!) Don't worry he bought her a new one, thank goodness for Wally World in Payson:) THEN...As we were getting closer to our destination Marc remembers that he forgot the sleeping bags...SERIOUSLY ?! So then I asked him if he remembered the tent...he says, "Well ya! That was the first thing I put in the truck. I guess the second thing I should have packed was the sleeping bags." Hopefully he learned his lesson...Good thing the cabin wasn't to far out of the way!

We had a lot of fun hanging out with Ma and Pa Lemieux, Britt and her kids, the Sagers, and the Walkers. We are so lucky to have them in our lives and have them as friends:) We are also very thankful for the BIG trailer...the second night was really cold (our 3 sleeping bags weren't cutting it) and windy, so we got to crash in the BIG trailer. Nate and Michelle were lucky to leave that evening and I must say Ross and Sarah get a gOlD sTaR for sticking it out. Maybe there 3rd camping trip will be better than their first 2!

Little Things...

This morning I woke up and realized that there are little things each day that make my HEART melt...(these are just a few)

• I love how each morning when Sawyer WAKES up she gets the BIGGEST SMILES on her face
• I love it when Clate wakes up and gives me a bIg SNUGGLE and HUG and then marches over and gives Sawyer a bIg KISS
• I love it when Marcus has to leave EARLY in the morning and has a bottle of APPLE JUICE ready to go and on the night stand for Clate
• I love it when I get to lay in bed and have Marcus, Clate and Sawyer all SNUGGLED up with me:)
• I love that Clate and Hadlee are BEST FRIENDS and that they LOVE Sawyer
• I LOVE Thursday afternoons when Marc is back in town
• I love when Clate does his HAPPY FEET dance
• I love it when Sawyer tries to TALK
• I love how after Hadlee and Clate fight they immediately give each other HUGS and are back to being BEST BUDS
• I love Sawyers CHUBBY CHEEKS

I just love the little moments in life! I know when I have those moments that seem to be overwhelming or just plain out crazy...it's always followed by a little moment that makes me happy

Too Excited...

This morning I went to give Clate and Hadlee a bath, I turned the water on turned around to grab the soap, I turned back around and this is what I found. Clate decided to hop in the bath with his jammies and diaper still on. Needless to say he gets a little excited for bath time!

The next pictures our from our trip to the beach. We got to go to San Diego again this year for a trip with the H.S. XC team, that I help coach. It was fun! Except for the part when we accidentally locked the kids in the car:( Don't ask me how it happend...it just did. We were licky enough to have had the car running, and lucky we weren't here in AZ. We are so thankful that the fireman and firetruck could get there so quickly and bail us out. I must say it was pretty embarrasing when the firetruck came into the parking lot with there lights and sirens!

Somedays...

So the last few days have been CrAzY...there are times when I want to pull my hair out and scream, days where I just want to sleep, days where i just wish my husband was working in town being a single mother of 2 0r 3 is tough, days where I just have to take a deep breath and laugh, days where I think seriously can life get any sweeter?!

So yesterday I had one of those moments of wanting to pull my hair out! I feel that sometimes all the crap hits the fan at the same time...

yesterday afternoon I had to go pick up Jayce early from school and take him to my mom so he could go to the Dr. I was like oh geez this is going to be interesting...most people wouldn't think this would be such a big deal, but when there is only one of me and I have to take 3 kids under the age of 3 out it gets interesting. So we make the voyage to the school, make the long hand holding train into the office I start to sign the paper to get Jayce out of school...in the meantime Clate thinks it would be funny to pull out all of these flyers at the school and spread them all over the floor, while Hadlee is trying to catch him and get him to stop. It didn't work he thought she was playing tag or something so he continues to run WiLd! Finally Jayce gets there we pick up the mess and leave.

We meet my mom at the store, she takes Jayce and in return I get Denton so I can have help why I run into the grocery store. We load the kids in the giant car cart(the one that can hold 3 kids). We are strolling through the store and I almost take out every isle with the huge cart and I constantly have to tell Hadlee and Clate to keep there arms and legs inside the cart so they don't get chopped off ha ha.

With a little bribery we survive the store I make it home and now Sawyer is screaming she is starving...so Denton helps me get all the kids inside and groceries...I have to put some groceries away because the ice cream was melting...in the meantime Sawyer is really screaming. I finally sit down to feed her when Hadlee comes running in "Whit I gotta Poop!"
I'm like seriously right now?!

I have Denton run and take her to the bathroom. At the same time Clate is now screaming and trying to rip off his diaper (he has a bad rash)...I stop feeding Sawyer. I'm in the the process of changing Clate and putting on rash cream when I hear Denton "Uh, Whit! Hadlee pooped in her pants!" Oh Seriously can this all go down at the same time?! I have her wait in the bathroom as I grab Clate who is now screaming bloody murder...the rash cream was burning or something. I get them cleaned off, bathed and dressed, finish feeding Sawyer. Then I sit back take a deep breath and think could this get in crazier!! Glad that is over!

I love being able to stay home with Clate and Sawyer and get to spend so much time with my little sis Hadlee(pretty much like my 3rd kid love her to death). I am so lucky to have such good kids even though some days are crazy! Here are a few random pictures from this weeks adventures:)

The other night we were eating dinner and talking, when all of a sudden we hear snoring, we look over and Clate is sleeping in his chair with beans all over his face and quesadilla in his hands. Poor kid will fight sleep until he can't anymore:)
