Funny Stories...

So I just wanted to put these stories down so we can remember them when Clate is older...
I first have to make a confession...Clate will be 2 in April and he still sleeps with us. With that said my story can continue...

So the other night Marcus whispers "hurry come look at Clate!" I run over to Clate's room and we peek in and he has gotten on his new bed, pulled the covers up and looks like he is going to sleep. We are super excited that he just got in his new bed (not ours) and is going to sleep...

BUT we go back a minute later to peek in on him AND he was being a SNEEKY little boy. He had found a pack of gum and was hiding in his room on his bed, shoveling all the pieces of gum in his mouth!

The Story continues.............

The next night I had mutual and Marcus had a football game so after we went and picked up the kids to bring them home, I quickly go get Sawyer's PJ's, a diaper, and the Vick's rub (she's been pretty sick) to get her ready for bed. I go grab Sawyer come back sit down to get her dressed, and I don't hear Clate, which is NOT a good sign (he tries to escape out the back door)!

I yell for him a few times, NOTHING. I run to the back door and look in the garage, NO SIGN. I tell Marc to look out front, but on my way back in from the garage I notice a pillow moving in Clate's room. He is hiding behind a toy box, under his pillow on his old bed, not making a peep. All I can see is the pillow moving a bit. Once again we were like what a nut trying to hide out. Ha Ha.

I come back out to finsh getting Sawyer ready bed, change her diaper, put her PJ's on and grab for the Vick's...It's GONE...At that second I knew exactly where it was!

I run into Clate's room, lift up the pillow and I find Clate hiding, sniffing the Vick's! Once again he was being a SNEEKY little stinker. He fooled us AGAIN! I couldn't help but laugh! I don't know what it is with him and Vick's he LOVES to sniff it, I always have to hide it from him! Here is a picture of him "relaxing" with Grandpa and Dad.
He look so innocent in this picture;)

Happy Valentine's Day

Tonight turned out to be a great night!
Ordered some Chinese take out
Grandma and Pa stopped by to bring Clate and Sawyer a Valentine and a cookie:)
Watched the Little Mermaid and hung out as a fam...

Although we didn't do anything extravagant today I feel very lucky! I love Marcus and our two little ones and the time we were able to spend together tonight.
Playing with the kiddos

Our Yummy cookies

Clate loves to have people try to "steal"
his binky (yes...he still has a binky, hopefully we'll get rid of it when he's 2)
he was even more excited when Sawyer would try to take it from him.
He loves it when Sawyer tries to play with him, it is so cute:)

Crazy Clate

Yesterday Clate had quite an accidental day.

RoUnD 1: We went and Hadlee lunch at Grammy Ellie's class room and Clate had a little wipe out and skinned the tip of his nose.

RoUnD 2:Later we went to Grammy's house and he was being his crazy self and trying to walk on Grammy's table and well he fell off head first. Luckily he hit the wall first it kind of broke his fall and is definitley softer than the tile.

RoUnD 3: Later he was running around doing laps...when he runs he really concentrates on pumping his arm (yes, only one arm pumps) and is not always looking where he is going and ran right smack dab into the wall (and yes...this happens often). Goose egg

RoUnD 4: He was standing on a little step stool and was trying to get a cookie off the counter, the stool tipped and he went flying and hit his nose again! He then got a bloody nose.

RoUnD 5: And if you thought his poor nose hadn't taken a big of enough beating he fell of the bed and hit it again..with only minimal bleeding!

Here is a picture of him today the picture makes it look pretty good. Hopefully our little RuDoLpH has a little better day.

The following picture is the bathroom after Clate had decided to try and flood it by using the cup in the bath and dump it all over the floor all in a bout 60 seconds! I just had to put a diaper on Sawyer so she wouldn't pee on the floor, and I came back to find this. I think it took about 5 or 6 towels plus the rug in the bathroom to soak it all up;) I guess it taught be a valuable lesson...KEEP CUP AWAY FROM CLATE;)

Tupe and Rolls

So I thought I would post some picks to show off Sawyers Tupe and Rolls. The pictures don't quite do them justice, but the Tupe is quite awful and the rolls are getting rolly!

We love our Sawyer!

Here are her legs they really do have rolls, but I think She
was a little embarrassed to show them off!

Don't you love the Tupe?

Lately...

Lately, we have been enjoying the nice warm weather. We have been able to spend a lot of time outside. And most of all it is so nice to have Marcus working back in town. It has been about 9 months since has been here!
Clate shooting his gun. He has to take this everywhere and usually has to sleep with it too!

Clate really loves to jump on his new trampoline. And I am so happy it has a nice cage around it, and I think Clate is too. Clate likes to run full speed into it...thank goodness it has been sturdy so far, so he doesn't run right off the side. At first I really loved the cage. I could go put Clate outside, zip him in and I could come back inside and get dishes done and get my house cleaned. Sad new though...he has learned out to get out:( Clate has really been a joy to watch. He is out of control most of the time and he loves to run around, jump off of things and get into about everything. One of the funniest things are his facial expressions. He makes the funniest faces, but it is hard for me to get pictures of them.
Clate and Hadlee jumping on the tramp

Sawyer is doing great...she is the "Chub-ster" with a nice tupe! Her hair is quite hilarious...bald pretty much everywhere except for the top, that just keeps on growing. t really looks like a tupe. My dad likes to call it the "Hitler Hair" She is a definite girl, she likes to talk and talk and talk. We love her and are so glad she is a part of our family.Sawyer such a happy little thing!!
